We used the Portacool Apex 700 for my best friend’s outdoor wedding, and let me tell you, it was the unsung hero of the day. While the bride and groom were radiant, and the food was top tier, this cooler stole the show when it came to guest comfort.
It was pushing 90°F with full sun, and we had over 100 guests at an open air venue. We strategically placed two Apex 700 units near the ceremony seating area and the reception tent. From the moment they turned on, there was a noticeable drop in temperature and a collective sigh of relief from everyone, especially the grandparents and groomsmen in full suits.
People kept asking, “Where did you get that thing?” and “Can I rent this for my event?”
If you're planning an outdoor wedding or summer event and want to keep your guests happy (and your bride from melting), the Portacool Apex 700 is absolutely worth it. It was our cool breeze on a warm, unforgettable day.
This Portacool worked well for us this last Summer here in the high desert in Southern California. I have a workspace in my garage with no AC and this unit was able to help keeps us cool, 10-15° cooler than the ambient temperature. The wheels made it effortless for us to move to our patio on hot days where we want to be outside under an umbrella and shade. The WiFi module and app made it a breeze to check in on the status and when we were running low on water. I would definitely recommend the APEX 700.
We bought this cooler from the big box store because of the display. We got it home, dumped water in it, and turned it on. It is amazing near the pool sitting outside. The interface is super easy to use and can attach to you phone to make it even more hands off. Also works with a hose so you don’t have to add water. All parts are serviceable as well. Great buy!!
Our office bought one of these to use in the shop where there is no air conditioning but ended up using it in the office when our AC unit went out. In the hundred degree weather, this Portacooler definitely made the difference. I love that you can start it up and shut it down from the app and that the app notifies you when the water level needs attention.
I like the portability and the ease of control. It is very efficient and works extremely well. Customer service responds well to any issues or problems. With the rotating vents it distributes the air throughout my garage. The machine is compact but powerful and delivers the air efficiently. I was so impressed with its performance I purchased another one. So far I am very pleased.
